MiaulyDelete your Miauly account
You can permanently delete your Miauly account either inside the app or, if you cannot access the app, by sending a deletion request from this page.
Delete directly in Miauly
- Sign in to your Miauly account.
- Open Options & Tools.
- Open Account & security.
- Choose Delete account, confirm the warning and complete the deletion.
This is the fastest method and does not require contacting support.
Request deletion without the app
If you cannot sign in or no longer have Miauly installed, email us from the address associated with your Miauly account. Put Delete my Miauly account in the subject and include your Miauly nickname if you know it.
Email account deletion request
We may need to verify that the request comes from the account holder before deleting the account. Never send us your password, authentication code or recovery secret.
What deletion does
Account deletion permanently deletes your sign-in account and email address and clears your nickname, biography, contact details and profile picture. Your follows, memberships, notifications and push subscriptions are removed. Shared cat and Community history may be retained without your identity when removing the underlying record would break a collective care or safety record. Security logs, abuse-prevention records and backups may remain for a limited period where necessary for security, dispute handling, legal obligations or backup rotation.
Photos, comments and other contributions
Photos, videos, posts, comments and other contributions you added to shared cat records and Community areas are not deleted automatically when you delete your account. They remain without your identity and appear as “Deleted member”. If you want specific photos, videos or posts removed, delete them in Miauly before deleting your account (a file you delete yourself is removed from storage), or email support@miauly.cat and tell us what to remove.
